Poetry Inspiration Board: Twilight

There is a secret space

between heaven and earth,

Between the living and the dead

Where the nameless 

wander back to 

burial beds.

Tread lightly 

It is a sacred time.

Look up and you will see 

the changing of heavenly guards.

They paint the sky path bright

and welcome every 

star to shine.

Inspiration Board: Sacred Mountain

You seek answers but,

you are not ready.

If you need a vision, 

you will find it on the 

highest mountain.

Past the forest

that blocks you 

from the sky.

To a place where

not even birds will fly.

A place of only mist

and shadow.

Not a pillow of moss 

to rest your head.

So near to Heaven

yet kissed by the dead.

Sleep will evade you,

hunger will claw,

and the bitter cold

will be your only 

friend after all.

Alas you will 

hear the Gods on the winds

You will have forgotten 

all material things.

And as you reach

from the edge of the earth,

you shall find your re-birth.

Inspiration Board: Purple Succulent Ice Cream

Life is poetry.  Poetry is life.  All things are woven of words.  Tell a story.

Here is an inspiration board.  I like to put these together and see what thoughts and memories float to the surface of my mind.  It relaxes me.
